Myomo® is used to facilitate therapy in rehabilitation facilities and as an assistive device in the home. In either setting, therapy from a physical or occupational therapist (trained and certified to use the Myomo System) and adherence to a prescribed therapy program is critical to optimal use.
Myomo at Home
The Myomo Live Better Program combines the purchase of a Myomo System for use at home, with therapy sessions conducted by a Myomo Certified Therapist (MCT), a specialist in rehabilitation therapy using Myomo. Our proven clinical approach, can set those that suffer from partially paralyzed arms on the road to increased mobility and independence.
Why the home? Because Myomo is portable, every day activities can be performed using the mPower 1000 as an assistive device including: standing, feeding, reaching for light switches, carrying laundry and stabilizing while standing.
